I usta work for a ROO (Relative Of Owner) shop manager who was dumb as mud - and nothing would make him as mad as getting a RW talking point/cheapskate biz canard dismantled and thrown back at him.
Our straw boss (working foreperson) was a lesbian welder who grew up in France. She was cool - but when ROO's stoopidity collided with all of her issues, the whole deal pretty well went in the toilet.
Really, this is symptomatic of a growing issue within the class war - that the intellectual requirements of many of today's technical "blue collar" jobs make it quite likely that the shoprats are smarter than the managers - and the managers ('specially the wannabees) don't like it a goddamed bit!!!
