screw the "kill capitalism" crap. screw the "seize the assets of the top
1% and redeistribute that money". Mostly because both ideas are stupid.

I'm a small "c" capitalist. I think small business is largely a good thing for society. Not so big on corporatism, but that can be reined in without destroying capitalism, via vigorous and enforced regulation. Some things should be nationalized and we need single payer healthcare, but that's not the same thing as killing capitalism.

As for the seizing of all the assets of the top 1%, there are better ways of dealing with the income disparity and the hegemony of the ruling class. Tax them at higher rates. Take money out of the political system. But don't fucking trash the constitution. It's ironic that so many of those advocting this kind of crap were the first to rail against repuke trashing of the constitution, but to acieve their impossible little utopia, they're more than willing to do what they condemned.

1. Yes it's amazing what a little power does to some
it turns them into the people they're fighting against.

Nothing changes.

2. tax them at a higher rate is HOW you move money down the capitalist foodchain.
What did you think, roving squads of bolsheviks would methodically ransack rich people's underwear drawers looking for hidden jewelry?

sheesh. pathetic.

3. sorry, you're wrong. taxation of the rich at higher rates doesn't "kill capitalism"
and plenty of people in that other thread are advocating "seizing the assets of the top 1% and redistributing them. They aren't mentioning higher taxation. Try a little bit of honesty just for the novelty of it, dear.
