And you're still completely missing the point. This story isn't about "fundies" or politics or Bible Belt southerners, or making fun of religious people. This was a mentally ill man. That mental illness created great suffering for him & would have if he were a Southerner or a nice Boston liberal. Schizophrenia also often compels people to, yes, jump off of bridges.
