What's your Senator's/Representative's "price?'
The question bears asking once Tim Geithner unveils his plans for the "tough" new regulations and oversight about to be imposed on business, industry and especially Wall Street. The lobbyists are still out there and, while official spokespersons are officially decrying the proposed legislations, the K Street boys will be quietly asking your legislators, both democrats and republicans, "So,.. what's it gonna take?" (Okay, maybe not in so many words) But that's what's going to happen, to one degree or another. Doesn't take a majority to block new legislation, right? April will be the month for baseball and bribery.

Good month to write some letters.

1. mine is whatever the nuclear lobby is offering
but then again I'm in Oz so it doesn't apply.

You can write all the letters you like but unless you can hand over millions to your rep your letters wont mean a whole lot.

Whores don't care what people think they care what customers PAY FOR.

3. Sen. Kohl (D) WI
He is a corporatist and will back any thing that benefits corporations and banks. He is one of the blue dogs. Problem is he is unbeatable but he may not run again.

4. A hell of a lot more than I can afford
I generally like McDermott, but he's never met a "campaign contribution" he didn't like, and he definitely works hard for his money. Senator Patty Murray, the same. And as for Sen. Maria Cantwell... let me just refer you to this thread.
