I just called a local community college to make an appointment for a cleaning and checkup.

They have a dental hygienist program and do low-cost cleanings, checkups, and X-rays.

They are booked up for this semester and told me to call back in May to make an appointment in summer semester.

Why am I not surprised?

it takes a long while but the work is excellent.

just remember this about dental schools, generally speaking, unless they can learn from your mouth, you will go to the bottom of the list.

The worse off you are, the better the chance you will be moved up list.

I needed two implants, so top of the class I went.
