I never though of this, but Lawrence O'Donnel is right! The Pubs
who think torture works believe it because it would work on THEM! None of them are corageous enough to hoin the military, or di any hob that has risk! They are cowards compared to the men & women who willingly risk their lives for us!

He just said this on Keith's show tonight!

1. I think that was an excellent point. These people facing waterboarding don't care, they are willing
to die for their beliefs.

Lawrence O'Donnell has been on fire over this torture info. I'm loving it!!

2. How do you know that?
Many of these people were just picked up off the streets. Wrong place, wrong time. I'm sure the guy that was waterboarded 183 times would much rather have died, regardless of his beliefs. These are people. Human beings. No different than you or I.

3. Of course some were just picked up off the street, BUT those
wouldn't have any good inside info to give! I also doubt those wsere the ones who were really tortured. The prisoners like KSM etc. who MIGHT have useful info are hard core dedicated to their cause, and would rather die than betray their beliefs. I'm sure that's the reason so many professionals say torture doesn't work. The people who DO know something would rather die, so they either shut up and take the punishment, or they babble BS just to get you to stop.

4. The 14 year old boy was tortured..
and there were thousands of detainees. There is a reason why no charges were ever brought, and more than 2/3 of them have been released..albeit years later. And that's just Gitmo.
