For a measly $10, the National Arbor Day Foundation will send you 10 small saplings to plant at your your leisure. I've been a member for years and have planted trees, given trees to the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, VFW, Elementary schools and the the local Community College so people can get into the spirit.

3. I Got 10 Last Year, Planted Most and Gave a Couple Away. All Are Growing!

I have 2 apple trees and a Japenese Maple being delivered int the next day or so...also planted 6 good sized trees late last fall- we gotta make up for all the tree killers!
