question about Ed Schultz
Just wondering about the logistics of his radio show and tv show. How does he handle both? I'm listening to him on the radio right now, 3-6pm edt. Then he shows up on MSNBC at 6pm! I assumed his MSNBC show was live. Is it pre-taped in the morning?

After reading that article about Rachel and all the production work that goes into her 1-hour show, it seems like an impossible task for Schultz to do 3 hours of radio and 1 hour of tv.

Then, there's Thom .... who does 3 hours local radio in Portland, then 3 hours of the national show. That guy is the energizer bunny of progressive radio! :)

1. When you consider that Larry King had to quit his radio show
because his 1 hour show on CNN was too demanding. :wtf:

i swear that guy gets to the studio at 5:58 and leaves at 6:59.

2. Thom also does 1 hour of radio just for the Chicago market.

3. I think Thom also does an additional three-hours just for Portland.
3 Hours for Portland, 3 hours for the national show, plus an hour for Chicago...

4. I hear him earlier here on XM radio
In the Midwest he's on 11-2. That would be 12-3 for the East Coast. So he's got to be on tape for yours.

6. You're listening to a delayed broadcast
He's on from 12-3 eastern on the radio, so he has time to get to MSNBC & prep for his show at 6.
