Glenn Beck took his turn on "The View" today, and let's just say, the view wasn't pretty.

No sooner had the Fox News host taken a seat among the ladies during the "Hot Topics" segment than than Whoopi Goldberg took him to task for what she said were his lies about a chance meeting between Beck, Barbara Walters and her on the Amtrak train to Washington before the White House Correspondents Dinner this month.

Beck had later recounted the meeting on his radio program, saying Barbara and Whoopi had approached him and then dismissed him. Whoopi said Beck should have remembered that he approached them (not the other way around), introduced himself and then had a pleasant conversation.

"Why do you lie? You're a lying sack of dog mess," Whoopi said. "For you to make something up like that, and to say we pulled you in, it was a lie."

2. After the interview Beck locked himself in the Green Room for over an hour.

He was heard in the hallway sobbing uncontrollably. Not even Elizabeth could console him.

3. It was a pretty good smackdown

Of course, Beck didn't admit he lied. All he tried doing was distract the issue. Makes me wonder what happened during the commercial break, because Whoopi didn't say anything in the next segment.

I'm not going to watch his show, but I'd be interested what he has to say about this. You know without a doubt he'll twist this even more....but he won't provide any clips. Because he knows is all has to do is create a perception for his lemming viewers.
