Whoopi Goldberg calls Glenn Beck ‘lying sack of dog mess’

Whoopi Goldberg didn’t mince any words when the controversial Glenn Beck appeared on ABC’s The View Wednesday morning.

“No sooner had the Fox News host taken a seat among the ladies during the ‘Hot Topics’ segment than than Whoopi Goldberg took him to task for what she said were his lies about a chance meeting between Beck, Barbara Walters and her on the Amtrak train to Washington before the White House Correspondents Dinner this month,” Patricia Murphy writes at Politics Daily.

Murphy continued, “Beck had later recounted the meeting on his radio program, saying Barbara and Whoopi had approached him and then dismissed him. Whoopi said Beck should have remembered that he approached them (not the other way around), introduced himself and then had a pleasant conversation.”

Goldberg cut off Goldberg when he said she was “accusing him of lying.”

“You did lie,” Goldberg laid into Beck. “What do you mean ‘accusing you’? You sat there and you’re a lying sack of dog mess.”

Beck responded to Goldberg’s (and co-host Barbara Walters’) criticism by saying “You don’t like me.”

“No, I don’t like your views,” Goldberg shot back. “I don’t know you, okay? I don’t like your views.”

This sounds like the South Park episode where Eric Cartman gets his ass kicked by Wendy for being the jerk that he is. Glenn (the extra "n" is for knowledge!) Beck apparently isn't accustomed to being disagreed with when he's not in control of everything in the studio. It probably crossed his mind to ask that Goldberg's mic be cut, but I hope he wasn't deranged enough to actually say that while getting his beatdown.
