A Memorial Day Salute to Republican Mommies and Daddies
What does a Republican mommy or daddy do upon noticing a hair in his or her child's Kool-Aid? S/he fishes it out. It's the least s/he can do.

But what if the same child of that same Republican parent gets killed under questionable circumstances by Republican Party Leaders?

Well, Mommy looks the other way. Daddy thinks nothing of it. No biggie. It is what is is, right?

But how can this be?

How is it that in the lead-up to the Iraq holocaust, the mommies ignored reports which cast doubt on the Bush administration's WMD claims?

How is it that upon confirming the absence of WMD, the daddies settled for the regime-change scenario?

How is it that upon finally realizing that their children had died in an imperialistic effort to destroy a country whose people had never even been a threat to us, they Republican mommies and daddies not only refused to question the decisions of their Leaders, but had the gall, many of them, to speak out against those of us who did?

It's very simple really. The Republican Party is a messianic death cult. The mommies and daddies will literally do anything the Leaders ask of them.

They fish the hair from their children's Kool-Aid only to assure that it goes down smoothly. It's the least they can do.
