Watching PBS Newshour - Stu Rothenberg and Amy Walters - I am very pissed off....
Jim Lehrer was asking why the Dems abandoned Obama on Gitmo closing. Both Amy and Stu answered that the Dems got cold feet - lost their political will, because the Republicans were able to change the message - from Obama's campaign statement of the need to close Gitmo to make us safer with respect to our standing in the world....to the new message that "we don't want terrorists roaming our streets" (they both chuckled - as if dangerous criminals escape from Federal prisons everyday)...they particularly poked fun at Happy Harry Reid.

I am so sick and tired of weak-spined, chicken shit ineffective vacillating Dem politicians hijacking progress and giving the ball back to a party that should be in its death throes.....

I am similarly pissed at the whole "let's slip the guns in the national parks into the credit card" ploy....

Now I must go back out into my garden - today's news is not good for my blood pressure!

1. The Republicans are able to
change the message so easily because they are assisted by the corporate media.

Pick any issue and see how much air time the GOP positions get, usually without challenges.

Disgusting.

3. Infuriating, isn't it? I'm already hearing the promos for
tomorrow's 'showdown' of President Obama vs. war criminal Cheney speeches.

Gee, I wonder which one will get the most media attention.
