Where to Turn for Help When the Paycheck Stops
http://www.unemploymentlifeline.com/

In response to the staggering numbers of American workers who have lost their jobs AFL-CIO Community Services and the AFL-CIO community affiliate group, Working America have created a national web site to help unemployed workers WWW.UNEMPLOYMENTLIFELINE.COM

People can enter their ZIP code at the site and see a listing of available resources in their area, such as where to go for unemployment insurance, nutritional assistance, heating subsidies, credit counseling, job training programs and much more.

This site also allows unemployed workers to talk to others who are in similar situations and gives them a voice with thousands of others who have joined Working America

Share this site with your members, community and family

For more information call your local AFL-CIO Community Services staff or the AFL-CIO Community Services Regional Director, Armando Olivas at 213-387-1974 ext. 17

Thanks for posting this. I have bookmarked the site to pass on to anyone that might need the information. It's a great service.
