There needs to be some type of education movement

of the primary reasons behind why therapeutic or late term abortions are performed. This idea that they are primarily someone changing their mind at the last minute and not wanting children probably needs to be addressed. The rhetoric used by anti-choice persons particularly concerning late term abortions needs to be addressed head on IMO. Just an opinion of mine. I know most late term abortions are performed due to complications (since if it is about not wanting children, those abortions tend to be decided upon quickly). Also, the language of the debate needs to be changed as it does on many other issues the rightwing seems to control in this country. It's time to stop all the madness and provide some push back.

1. 1) They control the media what do you expect?
2) This is explaining something complex to the crowd that responds to Drill Baby Drill. 3 strikes your out and Brawndo has electrolytes. The stuff that plants crave.

3. We can still have a coordinated effort.
The divisions in this country because of their absolutes combined with inciteful rhetoric needs to be addressed and not ignored.

4. We are winning the battle where it matters
the Youth.

Right now we have a stalemate. Since it is a stalemate the rule that is in place stands.

If we spend any money educating people it has to be directed at the 30 and under crowd. Its what worked/is working on the gay rights issue.

2. Unfortunately the right has framed the "education"
The right has completely framed the dialogue in the media about this. They have been allowed to spew their lies and exaggerations for so long it will take a major push to get anything else out there. I hope it happens.

I still remember McCain's sneer when he spat the words "Life of the mother" in the debates. Republicans are monsters where women's rights are concerned, absolute monsters.
