2. Strange title
No discussion about right wing zealots murdering citizens who disagree with their views.

Great call on now - sounds like a DUer!!

3. yeah, that guy was great.
and it is a strange topic for discussion considering this is the day after Tiller's assassination by an anti-choice terrorist.

They're going to regret this topic. People want a discussion on domestic terrorism not this bullshit.

Why doesn't that jackass tell us that Scott Roeder was a regular at Operation Rescue?

5. and yet, nobody was allowed to ponder where Roberts stood on abortion
because he never had to rule on any cases of the sort, and he couldn't make statements on cases that he may or may not be faced with in the future ...

:silly:

6. Ding ding
The rules change when Rushican's aren't involved.
I hope Sotomayor's mother is practicing to cry in public just like Mrs Alito.

8. She has to answer the same way Roberts and Alito had to answer the question
hint: they refused to answer.

10. all SC nominees should be required to answer this question...
and frankly, I would be a lot happier about this nominee if she was out there enthusiastically and proudly declaring her support for a woman's right to choose (and the general right to privacy).

But it shouldn't stop with abortion rights. I think all SC nominees should have to answer hard questions about tough issues. These people have a huge impact on our lives and we have the right to know in advance what we're getting.
