Of course, he agreed with Sarah Palin's notion yesterday that the Obama administration was using "fear" to justify expansion of government. I disagree with the financial bailout, but shouldn't the Morning Joe crew remember that Sarah Palin had defended the bailout? Because it was all about "job creation....er....health reform" or something? Sure it was during the campaign, but it would be nice of someone to remember and question her views now instead of allowing her to position herself as the economic populist in the equation.

I'm all but certain that "Stretch" is the laziest of the laziest in the beltway bubbleworld. He accepts the right wing talking points...rarely bothers to check context. It's lazy and disengenuous. Instead of recaling that most of the bailout happened on boooshie's watch (along with the overall collapse of the economy). Stretch goes for the quick talking point he found on Drudge and that's where he goes from.

Other than his looks, I've never understood why this fuckup ever got beyond the mailroom. He's an insult to the few remaining real journalists who actually investigate what they write. This dude has skated for years...some get lucky that way.
