Google mentor passes on at 45

Computer scientist Rajeev Motwani, an Indian national who was a professor at Stanford, has died. 99% of people have never heard of him, but he has had quite a big influence in Silicon Valley. To quote Sergei Brin, co-founder of Google: " Today, whenever you use a piece of technology, there is a good chance a little bit of Rajeev Motwani is behind it." Mr Motwani was a mentor to Page and Brin, and an early investor in Google.
