And did you hike alone, with someone else, or with a group?

7. A long time ago. We lived about a mile from a section of the trail
and used to hike parts of it with our dogs tagging along.

8. About 20 years ago.
I was an undergrad and was helping one of my professors with a botany project. There were 4 of us all together, as I recall.

Nice area.

9. I'm lazy
I should have, being born and growing in Appalachia. The mountains are beutiful, but I prefer to just sit my lazy backside in the swing on my parents' back porch and enjoy the view of them while sipping cold tea, LOL!

I haven't backpacked for 25 years and have no idea why.
My husband and I used to before we were married and had kids . . . okay, I remember why now.

lol

11. All of it or just parts?
I've done little pieces here and there over the past few years, usually with at least one other person.

13. I hope the phrase "hiking the Appalachian Trail" becomes a
euphemism for "boinking" or maybe more correctly used instead of, "The gop congresscritter/senator/asshole has decided to spend more time with their family." It will become, "Well it appears gop congresscritter/senator/asshole has decided to "hike the Appalachian Trail," if you know what I mean. Nudge, nudge.

It will become the latest pick up line in bars, "Hey, how would you like to hike the Appalachian Trail?" SLAP!
