Edited on Fri Aug-07-09 05:28 AM by Uben
... and in all fairness we should allow them to protest from fenced cages a few blocks away. Didn't they extend the same courtesy to us?

13. "Conspiracy to deny civil rights."
"Racketeering."
"Disturbing the peace."

I support the guaranteeing of Turfers' Miranda rights, as we charge them and their corporate masters appropriately.

6. According to US Law
...some of their actions constitute domestic terrorism. They should be prosecuted accordingly.

9. Exactly. this constitutes an orchestrated
attack on civil discourse. It is not about debate because in a reasoned debate they will get the shit kicked out of them.

12. And here is the law, for those who are interested.
US Code
TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 113B > § 2331
(5) the term “domestic terrorism” means activities that—
(A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a
violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any
State;
(B) appear to be intended—
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by
intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass
destruction,
assassination, or kidnapping; and
(C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of
the United States.

7. Who's rights have truly been violated here?
Their screaming prohibits others from exercising their rights. While they have the right to express their opinion, disrupting the process by which all people can voice their opinion in a peaceful town hall discussion, they have violated the same right of the others in attendance.

Violence and disruption is not freedom of speech.

19. When you go into a meeting with the planned strategy to disrupt it,
then claim it was a spontaneous reaction and that you represent the majority of the people...I would call that a second degree coup d'etat.
