The Republican Dictionary, "We're in the minority now" Edition
Edited on Fri Aug-07-09 09:26 AM by ck4829
A
Ally - The coup leaders in Honduras, that's about it for them

B
Bipartisan - Closing your eyes and picturing real hard that Republicans still have the White House, the Senate, and the House... Some Democrats have been tricked into doing just that
Birth Certificate - Grasping at straws
Birthers - Everyone is insane but them. And their so-called "wacky" leader, Orly Taitz, is an absolute genius

C
Class Warfare - When money is sent downwards. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT call it class warfare when it is sent the other way, that is normal and healthy

E
Enemy - Everyone who is not you

J
Judicial activism - When judges make decisions that you don't agree with

M
Manchurian Candidate - Barack Obama
Marxist-Socialist-Liberal - Barack Obama

N
Natural Born Citizen - NOT Barack Obama

O
Obstructionist - What? What's that? I've never heard of this "obstructionist" word before.

R
Racist Christian - Barack Obama

S
Secrecy - It's a bad thing for the Executive Branch to participate in it now
Secret Muslim - Barack Obama
Socialist - Just scream it when arguing with a liberal, it'll make you look smart... Really, it will

T
Tent of freedom - Code for "We have no ideas of our own"
Tort reform - When you want the government to say how much people can get from medical malpractice lawsuits. Don't worry, it's still OK to say that you don't want the government to say how much gasoline or prescription drugs can cost, that's definitely not a double standard or anything like that, no sir.

W
Witch hunt - What Republican say when they don't want prosecutions for people involved in torture, who ironically used the same tactics that witch hunters used to "prove" that witches exist

2. Anything acceptable to the local Chamber of Commerce would be considered great journalism.
by the right. Boosterism is the name of the game. True investigative reporting, unless it involves a Democrat's private life is strictly off limits.
