If I were a United States Senator right now
Edited on Tue Aug-25-09 06:09 PM by salinen
I would read a list of all 100 Senators and the contributions given them by the health insurance industry, big pharma, and any other anti-reform group on the floor of the Senate. I would be so acerbic in my assessment of their bribe taking that they would have no choice but to attack the messenger or justify their actions. I would point out that the public option is what the people want and that no public option is what the insurers want, and that if the Senate only represents special interest, then democracy is dead.

1. hopefully if you were a senator you would know tha there are 100 senators not 50
and believe me, they would have no trouble ignoring you no matter how acerbic you were.
