Matthews talking about how, amid all the "flackery" that goes on on Capitol Hill, Teddy had all these "secret, Santa Claus missions" that no one knew about until his death.

1. I know several people that do that and you will never hear it
mentioned on MSNBC or anyplace else.

Lots of good folks out there, including Ted.

3. I'd heard this from two very reliable sources, including DUer Tangerine
LaBamba and also from a source at the Washington POST.

Ted was a peach.

4. I saw a story on that the other day.
I think I saw it on ABC. They interviewed a little girl who he tutored -- she was sad that she lost her friend.

5. I once went to a club one afternoon to interview a band
actually a country club with a pool, a rock club and a disco. I was quite surprised to see a school bus parked outside, and the pool full of inner city kids. I "accused" the owner of being "an old softie"!

6. Can anyone picture Bitch McConnell taking the time to read to schoolchildren?
Especially in an "economically depressed" neighborhood?

Maybe it's a good thing. Elementary school kids would be bored stiff by "Atlas Shrugged."
