AP (2009-08-27)
COLUMBUS, OH (wosu) - The campaign of U.S. Senate candidate Jennifer Brunner has reported a theft from its downtown Columbus campaign office to local police.

A spokeswoman for Brunner, the Democratic secretary of state, says the laptop of the campaign's finance director and a tote bag were stolen sometime Wednesday. Nothing else of value was found missing.

3. There is a thriving business in stolen laptops in Columbus
I've worked as a contractor in a number of places here and thefts happen very regularly. At least 8 or 9 times while I was at Nationwide, alerts came out to notify security for anyone with a large number of laptops. They would come into the building around lunch and find a deserted section and just go from desk to desk and gather up as many as they could then get out. I also know at least a dozen people that have had theirs stolen from their car because they left it in the back seat.

2. We listened to her yesterday on NPR....
from the Cleveland City Club this week as she spoke; she is rock solid and a great candidate for the soon to be vacated seat of George Voinovich-R!...Wow, she is one smart lady, and a true progressive. Stay Tuned folks, Ohio will have two Democrats in the Senate.
