I've been watching Russert and Blitzer this weekend, both of whom, I believe, have suddenly come to the realization that all of their carefully cultivated schmoozing the * administration has been for naught. These arrogant bastards thought they could ride the Beast and guide it through the Netherworld. Both of them see themselves as kingmakers and international power brokers. It has been a pleasure watching it dawns on them that the Beast has been chewing on their livers the whole time.
