W. Contradicts Self in SOTU--"What Global Climate Change?"
Did anybody else notice that the Liar-in-Chief subtly contradicted his former (and his grassroots') stance on Global Warming?

He said this:

"America is on the verge of technological breakthroughs that will enable us to live our lives less dependent on oil. And these technologies will help us be better stewards of the environment, and they will help us to confront the serious challenge of global climate change."

WAIT JUST A COTTON PICKIN' MINUTE! I thought Global Climate change was "junk science", it was "researchers trumping up their findings for more federal funding", it was "just the sun getting hotter," it was nothing more than "natural fluctuations".

Somebody's very wrong here--either the pResident or his Fox News Rush O'Hannity cheering section.

1. 'Global warming' is the junk science--Climate Change is Bushspeak approved
Climate Change could be good and pleasant. Indeed isn't it common for people to seek a change of climate, for example on vacations?

2. notice that he quickly changed the subject, right after that sentence!
And he didn't speak of it again -- well, until his energy speech where he babbled on about how we don't know whether or not it's possible to build a hydrogen-powered car. (Actually, we do, but Bush isn't known for keeping up with events.)
