There are many ways to look at the outcome of this controversy and many of them keep people confused and divided. On the other hand, this is an opportunity to look at the realities that have been revealed and reconsider where we go from here as a culture and as just plain folks.

Has the Imus mess affected your view of derogatory speech in media and slurs as "a joke," including in your own life?
