1. Obviously this place has been there for some time.
Maybe the reason for putting it underground was to protect it from Bush and Israel (whether this was realistic or not).

Bombing a nuclear facility is bound to scatter radioactive material.

3. Iran had never dislcosed this facility before.
American Intelligence had found it about 5 years ago and suspected it was nuclear facility but Iran denied it.

Iran disclosed other facilities and testified multiple times before UN and IEAE that their disclosure was complete.

6. Iran has not denied it as far as I've heard
The US has keept the intelligence secret. They were going to spring it on Iran next week at the multi-lateral talks, but Iran screwed up their plans by disclosing it to the IAEA.

And it is in the vicinity of the holy city of Qom. So using nukes would be politically infeasible.
