Question for RWingers who want schools privatized: IF not the government, then who?
Lots of RWingers shout "privatize" like a mantra when it comes to public schools. But, lets say public education gets privatized. Who do the RWingers think will run it?

Seriously, the schools are not going to be put in middle class hands. It will either be corporations or churches. So, here's the question: which one? or ones?

1. Corporations always trump churches.
The GOP pays lip service to the fundies, but it's all talk. They are all about profit, nothing more. Their god is the almighty dollar.

2. Some of each, I assume. The wealthy will get the expensive for-profit
corporate schools. The less wealthy will get the cheaper "non-profit" church schools. Those without money for either will get no schools at all. It will be up to the parents to educate them K-12.

Next question?

3. I have to laugh. Under the RW plan, there WILL BE no Middle Class.
In case you were wondering.

4. Neither. We will just bring back child labor
If the parents can't afford private school, then they can send the kids to work.

In a slave society, who needs an educated working class?

It's been done before....

5. Who runs the good private schools - they are generally better than public schools in an area.
what parent wouldn't like to be able to have their kids in private schools in areas where the public schools are crap?

12. I have always thought that it wasn't so much that private schools are better
but it was the parents of private school students that were better. When you pay big bucks for private school, you are more likely to be thoroughly involved in your kids education

9. They should just use the current private system. And quit bitching about it.
I bet they would like to pay over $275,000 during the educational years (K-12) for each child they raise. Instead of paying a fraction of that in taxes.

13. For the RW, "private school" is a code word
meaning madrassa, but only for their Allah.
