Religious life won't be the same after downturn !
NEW YORK (AP) -- Organized religion was already in trouble before the fall of 2008. Denominations were stagnating or shrinking, and congregations across faith groups were fretting about their finances.

The Great Recession made things worse.

1. Old churches make great restaurants.
Almost all of the older churches are actually connected to the parish hall, which has a commercial kitchen. Most upgraded their bathrooms and steps and stuff for handicap years ago. High ceilings and great ventilation, though many would need a booster on the AC.

Catholic churches, might be a little noisy with all that stone, but surely some good use can find them.
