Isn't it odd how the Republicans are totally down and out and completely in control of our Govt. ?

Seems even a small minority of unpopular Republicans can still steer the whole political mechanism towards their own goal.

And health reform is VERY important to me. I'm not willing to kill the idea yet.

Makes me wonder -- can't we do to the minority of Blue Dogs holding this ship up the same thing we did to, oh, Tester's opponent or to Mr. Macaca?

Seriously, if we need 300 in the House and 70 in the Senate, we can get them. We didn't get this far by being p-words.
