LOL some fan on Tom Delay's performance
Happy Delay is still in. There aren't strong enough verbs for how much I loathe him, but I think having to train on an injured foot at his age is a tiny bit of punishment. I only hope they have him do samba and rumba before he leaves. Not that I'll have the stomach to watch them (shudder), but I think there's a good chance he'd be profoundly uncomfortable doing them.

Fan is so polite...I couldn't have shown as much class.

2. I'm so glad that the bug man is doing this.
It will make him as much of an irrelevant caricature as Bob Dole became, after he whored for Viagra.

3. Isn't it great?

He puts himself out there for us to make fun of and then hurts his foot. Ole Tom's not giving up. Balls of steel that man. He won't let a bunch of liberals run him out of dancing on a hurt foot.

he is making such an ass out of himself and providing hours of material for the late night guys to use and turn him into an even bigger joke than he already is.

5. His dance partner Cheryl can't stand him. She was MIA during most of the show last night

and only showed up to dance with him. A dance during which he almost dropped her on her head.

6. I couldn't resist going over to Free Republic last night to hear how noble Tom is

Not so much...

"When I saw Delay stumbling around and sneeringly mouth “Wild thing....”, I figure western culture hit rock bottom. It cannot get any worse than this."

"I heard that he almost dropped Cheryl during their routine. I would have had to beat his a$$ if he had dropped her."

"Dancing Tom looked as graceful as a wooden plank. He should be embarrassed. I can’t dance and I don’t have to prove it."

Cheryl's got a big fan base over there, not so much Tom. Plenty of pictures of Cheryl posted but none of bugman.

I hope the conservative voting brigade keeps him on. Bugman will NEVER drop out!
