Since the Democrats were elected, there are fewer guys like this running around. Remember this story?

2. Two British Special Forces Dressed as Arabs
Caught with bombs, weapons, and possibly attacking coalition forces by the Iraqis. False flag terrorism.

5. At the beginning of the war ....
These guys were captured by Iraqi police. They were dressed as Arabs and were firing at Iraqi police. They had weapons and explosives in their car.

They were taken to a police station/jail by the Iraqis where they were identified as British special forces. The British, rather than going through channels for them to be handed over, launched a mission using overwhelming force to "spring" them from jail.

The conclusion many drew was that British and American forces were fomenting violence as an excuse to make the occupation look necessary to preserve order.

6. I suppose that my self-imposed ban on teevee coverage of the war kept that tidbit of
tinfoilery out of my brain.

Thanks for the update. This doesn't surprise me in the least. There is no limit to what the Powers That Be will go to ensure that their goals are met.

7. You think this was covered on TV?
It made a couple of British newspapers.

8. Not on the American teevee networks for damn sure. I don't even remember it being
on the internetz, but I wasn't a big bloghound then, so that may explain that.

4. Obvious
Car bombings are down, because they're running out of cars.
