Is this the same as when the Dixie Chicks verbally bashed Bush on foreign soil?
Lifelong Republican and over-the-hill crooner Andy Williams bashes President Obama as a Marxist in a foreign publication. In a new interview with the Radio Times, a British magazine, Williams goes all Glenn Beck:

"Don't like him at all," he said, "I think he wants to create a socialist country. The people he associates with are very Left-wing. One is registered as a Communist.
"Obama is following Marxist theory. He's taken over the banks and the car industry. He wants the country to fail."

Come on all you Branson-visiting, Andy Williams-loving uber-patriots. Let's hear you go after Williams the way you did the Dixie Chicks. What's that I hear? Crickets? That's what I thought.

6. One party believes in and practices the Constitution
The other does not.

The Dixie Chicks didn't "bash" Bush. Natalie Mains made a between-songs comment that they were ashamed that Mr. Bush was from Texas. Hardly what I'd call "bashing," but your mileage may vary.

8. The good thing is....
Most people in foreign countries are aware enough to understand that Williams is a kook for spouting this nonsense.

Only Americans are apathetic and stupid enough to believe this shit...Andy Williams is only proving this hypothesis.

10. Yes.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I may not like it, and may think it's wrong, but I respect their decision to have an opinion.

If you think it's that important, call the news channels, both national and local. Call newspapers and magazines. Fight the crickets.

13. "registered as a communist"?
Do you get a little sticker for your car's rear license plate then?

Does registering as a communist give you discounts at Marxist grocery stores?

Do you get frequent flyer miles on workers' soviet airlines?

Wow! What a windfall for Obama! Shouldn't the public be taxed on that windfall? Oh, but that's what it was, to begin with, wasn't it, Mr Williams? Your financially-promiscuous friends being bailed out by the tax-payer.

You make it sound as if he was responsible for their failure, and raided Fort Knox for the benefit of the public, because he loves socialism. But didn't Mr Bush start it all by nationalising the two largest companies in the world: Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac? They were both painted into a corner and had no option, but it was due to the Republicans' fathomless, insensate greed, wasn't it. Remember, they didn't like all that piffling regulation? Drown the government in a bath-tub?

You're not thinking too clearly at the moment are you?

15. The same Andy Williams who counted Bobby Kennedy as one of his best friends?
He sang the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" at his funeral. It sounds like Dementia to me. I have seen it happen before, another one for my list.
