Al Qaeda is not winning the war the Neo Cons are.
And that is because the Neo Con goals mesh perfectly with tAl Qaeda. Or to put it another way the Neo Cons see Al Qaeda as a tool to achieve their goals.

Ben Laden told us what his strategy was long ago in the tape that was released by them….To win against us like the won against the Russians, by destroying their economy….he said that all he had to do was plant a flag that says Al Qaeda and the Americans would attack it.

The Neo Cons knew this of course and played right into it but not because they are stupid but because they saw the opportunity to make the oligarchy for which they work permanent and not subject to the whims of democracy.
And I think they used Orwell’s 1984 as the play book.

Bush not only went to Afghanistan where Ben Laden raised the flag but also into a country that had nothing to do with 911. He not only spent money doing it but threw it away at an astounding rate. He basically turned loose the greedy and let them steal as much as they could…..the goal was economic collapse that would leave the majority of people scared they would loose their jobs, scared that they would be attacked by terrorist, scared that the commies would take over, but most of all open to propaganda and open to be controlled just like the people were in 1984.

A little set back when the majority rejected the propaganda and elected Obama for change, but to them all it meant was that the job was not yet done, and further economic destruction would be necessary…..and here we are today.

1. Al Qaeda was set up, funded & trained by neocons.
They're essentially part of the same organization.

2. May be true....but not so obvious.
They know how to exploit people and that is what they do.

3. Bush knew that it didn't matter if the war was illegitimate
He knew that once in it there would be no extricating ourselves out of it. Bin Laden and Bush are two sides of the same coin. Both need each other in order to exist and survive and in order to further their personal goals and agendas.

But when the people start getting wise to the facts these old tactics don't work out so well anymore. They may have control over the msm and the tv but they don't have the control of the internet or the ability of people to find the truth for themselves. You have to control everything about the message and just the fact they've lost two elections in a row shows they aren't in control.

4. Well that of course complicates the plan.
But having control of the media, and more importantly the financial system, gives them confidence.
People who are scared and concerned about there jobs will listen to the propaganda. So it is like holding a gun to their head.....no job, no money, you are homeless....be afraid, be very afraid....Remember that Hitler came to power because of the economic collapse, and he partnered with the industrialist.

What gives me confidence is that the young are well informed now more than at any time in history and the internet is still their media....but at some point they will have to stand up and say no more.
