1. Good! I saw one of those stupid ones from Indiana the other day
(or maybe it was Florida - I can't remember).

Totally inappropriate for a license plate. Just as would "Be pro-choice!"

License plates should only be about the country or the state - celebrations of children, parks, natural wildlife, POWs, veterans, and so on.

Should never be about theological or political stuff.

Although now that I think about it, I think the license plate I saw wasn't about abortion, but was a cross with something like "Only Jesus Saves" or some other purely and obviously Christian sentiment about Jesus.

3. Florida does have them.

They were approved during the evil Bighead Jeb administration IIRC.

4. No, Indiana has "In God We Trust"
Which, by the way, is one of the two default ones you can get.

5. Probably from another state, then.
I do remember the cross and a very specifically Christian message.

2. this commenter has it right
"If people really want these plates, have the state charge them $250 annually. Then we'll see if these folks will put their money where their zealotry is.

Just for fun, make it $1000
