Television and Wars
Lately I keep thinking that if these wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were televised in the full bloody living color that we had with the Vietnam War, there would be much more emotion around them. We are insulated from these wars in a shameless way, and war reporters of any substance are nowhere to be found.

3. They learned from Vietnam
Why do you think Boeing and other defense contractors advertises on the networks every so often? Do you think they are trying to sell the rank and file a plane?
