I have gazed upon the death of parody
and thy name is "Conservapedia".

Holy hilarity, batman. This is comedic genius of the highest order, superior to theonion, mad magazine, and SNL all rolled into one.

Here's the entry regarding the President of the United States.

"Barack Hussein Obama II aka Barry Soetoro (allegedly born in Honolulu Aug. 4, 1961) is the 44th President of the United States, and previously served as a first-term Democratic Senator from Illinois (2005-2008). Obama and his running mate Senator Joseph Biden won the presidential election after 23 months of campaigning that spent over $700 million, much of it raised from undisclosed or fraudulent donors."

"The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons observed that Obama used techniques of mind control in his campaign, as in this speech: "a light will shine down from somewhere, it will light upon you, you will experience an epiphany, and you will say to yourself, 'I have to vote for Barack.'""

Amazing.

The conservative movement of the United States of America has achieved something truly remarkable here. They have created an image of themselves which is utterly immune to parody!

4. Nothing is funnier than a right wing nut job talking seriously.
Except for the tragic, hate filled parts, of course.

7. I find pretty much all of it to be tragic and hate-filled, myself.
But still horribly, horribly funny.

5. Puke alert

I just looked up Sarah Palin there. Her article is ten times the size of Obama's. Check this out about her "Future Political Prospects":

"It is suspected that Palin may spend the next four years building a base for a 2012 run for the Republican nomination against Barack Obama. Given her personal charisma and Reagan-esque connection with average, conservative Americans, she may be able to pull off a resounding victory. Conservative groups have speculated possible running mates, including Michelle Bachmann and Sean Hannity. Others suspect she may again seek nomination as the Vice-presidential candidate."

I can think of no better candidate for the republics, with the possible exception of Glen Beck.

Then I found out its owner is actually pretty serious about it. I still find the whole thing funny.

The site has its own "commandments" too. Hehe.

9. Here's what they have to say about McCarthyism, hope noone's drinking any beverage over the keyboard
http://conservapedia.com/Joseph_McCarthy

"McCarthyism" is the aggressive exposure of Communists influences in America and the people who protect them, and liberals will add 'with scant regard for due process'.

"Beginning in 1950, McCarthy became the most visible public figure to stand up to Communist infiltration of the United States government. He is now considered an American hero by many, though liberals still seek to tarnish his name. He was noted for claiming that there were large numbers of Communists and Soviet spies and sympathizers, engaged in a conspiracy to undermine the United States, inside the federal government. He was proven correct by government documents and inquiry, including decrypted Venona files. Ultimately, his detractors, including the Communist Party, were able to organize an effective effort to having him censured by the United States Senate. The term "McCarthyism," coined in 1950 in reference to McCarthy's attempts to expose Communists, was soon applied to similar dogmatic pursuits."

The atheism page is also comedically sublime.

I had no idea the leading cause of atheism is moral depravity!

17. Wow. Verbal tinkertoys. Can you imagine who's doing this?
I mean, right now, are there legions of absolutely deranged people who waste their time putting together a fantasy world that makes Second Life look like cold reportage? I shudder to think.
