Video of Anne Frank
Anne is the girl on the balcony, watching the bride and groom below. It looks like she lived in a nice neighborhood before her world was blown apart.

3. Probably not long
She looks close to 13, doesn't she? Lovely day, lovely event, and her life is almost over. So very poignant.

5. Wow.
Thank you. She should have had a nice, normal life. Everyone should.

For me, that is like watching the video images of President Kennedy's motorcade right before the assassination. The whole world was so normal, then it was blown apart just seconds later.

Otto Frank was a friend/schoolmate of Nathan Strauss, whose family owned Macy's (NYC). This is probably one of the reasons their story survived.

I remember reading the Diary of Anne Frank in high school. It was on our required reading list.. It was so
sad..I also read Hiroshima by John Hersey. Its also on my ipod as a book on tape.

9. Last night I rewatched a recording I had of
the 4hour mini-series about Anne Frank. It went beyond the capture and all the way into the concentration camp. It was heartbreaking.
