NFL Owners Will Not Allow Limbaugh to Join the Club
For some, it will be a matter of conscience and others it will simply be good business sense. Jimmy Irasy owner of the Indianapolis Colts has already given Limbaugh the thumbs down and I bet he will not be the last owner to express his opinion

The fact that is undeniable about Limbaugh, and what seperates him from all other owners, is that he has built his empire using racism, hate and lies as his stock and trade. It is what he has to sell and it is the only reason he is rich and famous. I have to believe that the owners, as a group, will clearly see that Limbaugh will be bad for business for ALL OF THEM. It will be about the money in this case. Limbaugh is a cancer that cannot be predicted or contained once it enters the NFL body. The owners know that.

There is another compelling reason that the owners will not give Limbaugh a team. It is the fear that all the owners and their elite little club will come under even more intense scrutiny by the general public, public interest groups and the government. As Michael Corleone says in Godfather III to assembled mobsters in Atlantic City about Joey Zasa,
"You all know Joey Zasa.
He is, I admit, an important man.
His picture is on the cover of the New York Times magazine.
He gets the Esquire Magazine award for the best-dressed gangster.
The newspapers praise him
because he hires Blacks, which shows he has a good heart.
He is famous.
Who knows? Maybe one day he'll make all of you popular."

The NFL owners don't want the scrutiny nor will they take any chances with the value of their teams.

1. Good! Limbaugh IS a real black sheep
with his archaic views on the way "things outta be" (the title of a waste of paper that he wrote back in the 90s).

2. It has been often said that owning an NFL team....
...is like a license to print money. The Oxycontin-chugging, Viagra-swilling skinfolded bag 'o shit is not part of the billionaires club of business men that constitute the NFL owners.

He is a well paid whore who will be forgotten five minutes after his well deserved stroke.

4. And the players sure won't go for it.
He's more likely to get a Dodge Ram than the St. Louis Rams. ;-)

5. Thank You Mr. Isray
You have redeemed your family in my mind. I always had disdain for the way you left Baltimore but you did your family well. You spoke up first. Here's to you.

7. The team owners aren't gonna want that slug as the NFL icon.
The last thing they want is Rush becoming a voice for their organization.
