19. Just a few months ago

I was on a Southwest flight from San Jose to Tucson, with a stop in LA. The first row of seats were blocked off in San Jose. In LA, a black SUV rolled up followed by a CA highway patrol car, and out popped Maria and an aid (I presume), they climbed the steps of the jet way and took the seats reserved for them in that first row. I sat more or less directly behind them.

She was not "done up" all that much but still would have turned heads, even if she wasn't a "Kennedy", a TV journalist, and the wife of the Governor and major motion picture star.

After getting to Tucson, she was met by a few people at the Gate and they moved down the hallway toward the exit. Got to near the bathrooms and her group moved to the left out of way and she made the dash across the path to the bathrooms on the right, almost running smack into me (she apologized and I told her "no problem").

Have no idea what she was doing in Tucson, but it was class act all the way... no private jets, no limos, no security around her (on the plane). No high profile shit.

Hell, one time I was playing cards at the Hustler Casino in LA and had gone to get a candy bar in the gift shop when a couple of goons showed up and told me "da gift shop is closed"... as I was walking out, Heidi Fleiss walks in. Heidi f'ing Fleiss! with more security (casino rent a cops) escorting her around. Sheesh! What a self important little shit!

I dislike Arrrrnold, but Maria is still a class act.

we will make cell phones that do not operate while moving faster than someone can walk. Yes, that technology is readily AND easily available. Disabling phones while moving will be the ONLY way to keep people from using them when driving.

45. I am thankful for good ole cell phones.

There have been a couple of times when my baby's daycare called me about her being sick when I would have otherwise been out-of-pocket. She needed to be picked up then. I know parents have always dealt with this, but it helps so much. Plus I travel a good bit with my job. It makes me feel much safer to have the cell phone there. I do think they are used too much though. Especially while driving. Now we have texting while driving which makes talking on your phone while driving seem like no big deal. What will be the next craze?

I have been guilty of it myself a time or two I admit, but if it weren't for those willing to buy this crap, they'd have to find other work. I try not to buy it ever. SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is calling out his wife, Maria Shriver, for apparently violating a state law he signed — holding her cell phone while driving.

The celebrity Web site TMZ.com posted two photographs Tuesday showing Shriver holding a phone to her ear while she's behind the wheel. It says one was snapped Sunday and the other in July.

The Web site later added a video it said was shot Tuesday in Brentwood, where the family lives. It shows Shriver holding a cell phone to her ear while driving a large SUV that appears to be a Cadillac Escalade. She then puts the phone down while the camera is rolling.

The first lady's office said it would have no comment.

On his Twitter feed, Schwarzenegger wrote to TMZ.com founder Harvey Levin: "Thanks for bringing her violations to my attention. There's going to be swift action."
