Huge social changes are taking place right now.
Everyone seems to be in 'silent agreement' that they've/we've ALL made some drastic changes/introspection about our lives/habits.

From time-to-time we might *dare* to ask ourselves, "are we better off now then we were 10 years ago?" Most people would have to honestly answer "no".

We're clearly in decline.

(Yet the stock market, which keeps many seniors in their homes, independent/senior living facilities keeps going UP, UP, and AWAY!!!! yeh!!!)

1. I'm one of those seniors, who at first lost interest. So the market was
adjusting, so I was told. Then I lost principle. Game over. I am not better off than I was ten years ago. I doubt if I ever will be better off than I was when I was twenty and making minimum wage while I went to college. At my age you really can't start over again although I do my best to hang in there. I am grateful that I have a place to live and health care.

2. It is too bad the entity that keeps seniors in their homes, etc., is the very same entitry........
that is destroying our nation, its economy and financial system. Instead of 'Boomer Generation' I prefer 'Generation GREED'. The stock market is pure fraud! nay!!!!

4. Unless you are now and always have been under poverty level income, that "entity" includes you.
You may need to do a little honest critical self-analysis; you appear to be a bigot.

5. wall street has cleverly attempted to include as many people as possible..........
in their scams to justify the fraud and take away an argument. I'm sure THEY appreciate your attempt at an assist.

3. Just the next step in the long journey to kill the concept of America.
It saddens me that we continue to simply lay down and accept what they've been doing to us.

Just one indicator; Using 1960 as a baseline, the USD today is worth slightly more than 15 cents. Use 1912 (the last full year before our surrender to the Fed) and that drops to a nickel.

7. You need to convince people to start a revolution.
And for people to genuinely believe in it, those saying people have to revolt in turn must start the actual revolt themselves, or lose all credibility.

And you know that's not going to happen.

6. I think it'll get worse though
That isn't to say we won't pull through it and be better in the end, but its just the beginning.

Another housing collapse coming in 2010-2011.

The economy won't really be decent until early next decade

We are facing a natural resource crunch. Peak oil is going to hit

Problems with the environment will get worse.

Our debt (consumer, national, trade) has serious problems.

So yeah, we are in decline. But I think in the long run we will solve these problems and be better off because of it. The period of 1914-1945 was terrible (two major wars and a depression taking up 19 of those 31 years). But the world got through it.
