Where the Wild Things Are premieres. Kid supposedly flees family in balloon and turns up in attic.
Synchronicity alert? Hollywood feeding kids dangerous ideas? Did the boy actually make it East of the Sun and West of the Moon and return home safe for dinner? You be the judge.

4. I think the kid actually made it.
The father left the experimental device unsecured



He ran away in a giant, peach-colored balloon.



Unfortunately, the North Wind blew the child off course.



Close up of where the balloon landed -- initial reports show signs of a dead body!



He was actually hanging out Where The Wild Things.



The kid is discovered safe and sound in the attic, back at home.
