If you have never visited a fundie Halloween Haunted Hell House, here's a clip.
Warning: There are several scenes I found appalling, but watch them if you want the whole meaning of the house. What scared me was the fact that someone set these up to scare kids to Gawd.

1. Without fear faith seems to get caught up in reality and the myths
are put aside pretty much like the rest of thee myths that were religion before the current popular myths were thought up. I mean really when was the last time someone went to the temple of Zeus or Hera to pray. I remember when folks tried to beat the fear of god into their kids, now that it's illegal to beat your kids they have to find new ways to get kids to fear so the faith spreads. Odd thing I noticed, those who claim faith are the most fearful people I ever met.

4. Not everyone who has faith is fearful.

Faith can bring hope to many who otherwise would have none.

There are many Christians (and other faiths equally) who use their faith for social justice. Don't let the Fundamentalists sour you on all of us. These people are the "terrorists" of Christianity.
