Finished for good with Chris Matthews
Tonight was just too much. First he just about had a public orgasim over Sarah Palin in the lengthy spot he gave to her book and impending presidential campaign. He's got a real problem controlling himself. I've seen it with a number of woman who he thinks are flirty and sexy- not only SP, but he made a fool of himself with Erin Burnett on air and it was talked about by a lot of people. Stick it back in your pants, Tweety.

Then he proceeds to thank Sean Hannity for apologizing about the "inadvertent" use of old video to make Michelle Bachman's rally look bigger than it was. Hannity's apology was a farce and everyone knows it. The use of the phony video was deliberate, but Chris gave Hannity a total pass and thanked him for standing up and apologizing. Tonight Hardball was total GOP suck-up.

2. Chris also drools over his man crushes - usually blowhard Republicans...
...like Tom Delay and Fred Thompson.

6. some of us tried to tell you Matthews was a sexist fool
but since he was being a sexist fool to Hilary's detriment it fell on deaf ears.

8. The Hannity section was strange
Hannity and his producers knew they were using bogus video just as they did for the 9/12 rally. What the fugg was Tweety thanking him for when the only reason Hannity said anything was because Jon Stewart exposed them.

9. awww, I cut him some slack
at least he's interesting, and seems honest enough in his emotions, however inappropriate they may be! We could do much worse than Chris. I kind of like him, even if he's a goof ball.

11. Sometimes I put him on because there's nothing else, but now there are Daily Show
and Colbert Report reruns in his 7pm spot, so I never have to see him again!

12. His ploy might be to boost Caribou Barbie
because he (like a lot of us here) would like to see her as the nominee, and not somebody that is actually electable.

13. He called Palin attractive and said she was the "pizazz, the sizzle on the steak" of the GOP
I think he was about to say she had "sunny nobility" too but caught himself in time.

14. Look up zbdent and Tweety using the DU google search, and you'll find
me warning that he was just acting nice, and that he'd return to stabbing Dems/libs in the back before too long ...

(I know, I know ... I wasn't the only one ...)

15. Hmmmmmmmmm I thought he made several digs
at her, making fun of her high school reading list and how she couldn't write the book herself. Chris is often "tongue in cheek" with his "compliments".

18. Yeah we didn't need Bad Tweety today, after Ed drank the "Muslinofashist" kool aid on Ft. Hood
Sure hope Keith's on tonight, because if it's Lawrence O'Donnell, he would probably pick tonight to go into DLC apologist mode and make MSNBC 0 for 3 tonight.

19. So the rumor is that ole Sarah's book has "5" Chapters
Edited on Thu Nov-12-09 08:05 PM by MadMaddie
Ummm...I can say I am not surprised but seriously what does she have to write about?

I think Keith covered a few of these...

Quitting her position as Governer of Alaska
Tanking the Repug ticket
Having an unwed pregnant daughter
Going to several colleges before completing her degree?
Shooting wolves from helicopters
Having closed venues for her speeches
Inciting racial divide at her political rallys

See I came up with more than 5...
