not much in the way of critical comm in that data. I assume you could download it and punch it into a pattern matcher but I doubt there is anything there other than depressing stuff.

2. The data in and of itself is not protected. Besides, Wikileaks is designed to do this
Mostly its a thorn in the side of business and governments. They replicate and distribute in such a manner to make it hard if not impossible to erase what they publish from the web.

The only restraint on them is their own decisions.
