Scott Brown - "Be careful what you wish for."
The GOP is having a grand time. You'd think they had no cares at all. However, now we may get to watch the fur really fly.

Brown is now a direct threat to Queen Palin. He is on face value an attractive, All-American party member. However, he cannot see Russia from his house. Brown has not mastered the run on, phrase dialect that Palin uses to communicate with her peepsicles.

So now, Barbie with her tea and Ken with his teabags will at some point begin to have at it for the sole of the Republican Party.

I wonder what magazines he reads.

2. If either had two brain cells to rub together
they would join forces and become King and Queen of the Teabagger Hop. Now that's entertainment I would pay to see. :)

12. from what i have seen in interviews, etc. he is a bright guy
he may be cute like palin, but he is not at all a mental midget like her.

underestimating his intelligence will be yet another example of leftwing hubris that will hurt us.

just like those who thought that the kennedy seat was a lock, and that "conservatism is dead" in the obama era are a big part of the problem

13. That still doesn't change the possible fight coming.
I have no idea how intelligent he is. He still will have to deal with Queen Palin's subjects. They don't care if he's Einstein.

BTW Palin's the one being underestimated. She is cunning, mean and has no scruples. Her supporters will fight to the death. They are rabid. She has potential to do much more harm to Rethugs, but keep an eye on her.

14. i don't underestimate her
i just think brown is much smarter. palin is on the level of a patty murray... iow, smart enough for politics...

brown is quite bright imo. despite being a lawyer :)

as a pro-choice repub, brown will get some flack methinx, just like an anti-choice dem would.

16. Flack? heh!
He'll think he's in a reprise of Dresden when the Conservagops get through with him. Being against abortion is one of their core principles.

Between Brown and Palin, I'd bet the house on Palin. She'd have him upside down in that turkey chipper before he knew what hit him.
:hi:

19. it may be, but...
it was the repubs who had a keynote speaker at a recent convention who was pro choice (arnold...)

when was the last time the dems had a keynote speaker who was anti-choice?

imo, an anti-choice dem faces as much flack and arguably more, than a pro-choice repub.

21. I don't think that will happen again now that the
Teapissers have arrived. They are putting up primary opponents against people I thought were on the edge of the Earth anyway like Jean Schmidt. I had no idea they could find anybody who could walk upright that was more conservative than she is.

9. 'when you get what you want but not what you need'-
you often end up needing someone to

"fix you".

Your post is pretty insightful- This is a nation of "consumers". And the packaging is meant to appeal, even when the contents are lacking.
