Ever Notice That When Republicans Lose Big Elections, They Don't Panic
They don't form an RLC to become more moderate. They even say, "we lost because we weren't conservative enough". After the 2006 midterm elections, did Bush become more moderate? Fuck no. Bush had a dog and pony show on Iraq, and then he pushed for the surge!

After 2008, when the Republicans again got their asses handed to them, did they back down? Did they moderate? Hell no. They went even further to the right. They have not cooperated once with this president on ANYTHING.

So, tell me. Why are the Dems in full panic mode when they still have a 59-41 vote lead in the Senate, a majority in the House, the and the White House? Why do they completely panic and fall apart after EVERY election loss, esp. an election with a horrible candidate who ran an awful campaign?

Look, I hate the Republicans, but I do have some respect for them. They fight for what they believe in, and when they lose, they don't panic and start whining. In fact, they tighten their resolve.

1. Maybe the Dems are in full panic mode because their base doesn't support them any more?
I dunno. But I like your point about the Rs not forming an "RLC."

3. Yap
That's why they don't take as long as our side to bounce back from electoral defeats. On our side we have a tendency to panic, and abandon core principles, which causes more electoral losses and the cycle repeats itself until we realize that something is not right here.
