So now the Pharma companies can donate a billion dollars each to the candidates of their choice.
We will get new health reform soon.
All to make it more profitable for the corporations.

2. Like all the laws, they are written to be gotten around. Corps cannot donate to a candidate's
official election campaign organization.

But they can use corporate monies to run ads advocating the election (and rejection) of specific candidates for specific offices. And they have some unenforceable, weak-assed language "preventing coordination" between these entities. But the effect will be the same - only the little disclaimer stating "authorized by the so-and-so re-election committee" will distinguish the two kinds of ads.

So, yes they can outright advocate for candidates and, because of their wealth, totally dominate the messages Idiot Amerika sees and hears.

that they want. Get ready for continuous bombardment of ads from corporations trying to convince you to vote for their Senator from Aetna.
