Please tell me ...what charges they will face? I really hope what you say is true but one is the son of an acting AG and you know how that goes.

And they are already free on an unsecured bond of 10k.

51. Thank you
I see the reporter said they were "in good spirits and smiling" during the hearing.

Just the same, what they're accused of doing is damned serious stuff, no matter how lightly the young men take it. It's not just that they deliberately attempted to commit a federal crime on federal property, they also posed as telephone workers and attempted to mess with communications devices.

I say, look for the government to press more charges.

52. Thats what Turley said on Countdown..watch for more charges....

just fyi: I took liberty with the word "laughing" as that was how I read into it and saw it in my mind .. for the record: no hyperbole intended.

It certainly seems like they are unaware of the seriousness of this. I would not have been smiling or in "good spirits".

It is going to be interesting to see what happens here.

22. Follow the money.
In 1972, G. Gordon Liddy and another confederate (I think his name was Baldwin and he was never charged) were the outside operatives when the Watergate burglars were nabbed. I hope there is a similar shake-out this time around and the trail leads up to some big-time Rethug operators on the Rovian level.

They've been the recipient of every ambush video against ACORN thus far, so the logical conclusion is that they are, at least, on the periphery involved in this. Here's hoping the Justice Department will come down hard on this with everything they have.
