Yo, Tea-baggers..You Might Be Aiming at Your Own Foot!!!
When you watch a Tea-bagger rally or convention, there is something that leaps right off the screen: These people are not the upper 2%, multi-millionaires in disguise. They are white trash...

I will guarantee you that those old enough are already on Social Security and Medicare and the rest are depending on it when their time comes in order to just stay alive. Notice the "Don't Touch MY Medicare" signs--(it's not YOUR Medicare, asswipe; it's a government program which puts you right in the same category, I guess, as "welfare queens"). Anyway, I kept thinking that the fools are opening up a dangerous (to their own existence) door and sure enough----the Repukes are feeling that if they can ride the Tea-Bag wave it will be a perfect time to finally get their dream of doing away with SS and Medicare. They are already throwing around the idea. The Tea-baggers might just have to dump something stronger into those tea cups once they figure out their useless, little lives might just go "bye, bye" (how's that deathy panely thingy workin' for ya'???).

2. That's exactly the reason the resolution to maintain SS and Medicare is needed to go for a vote
I think if the Dems had any courage they would make the resolution:
"To eradicate SS and Medicare and withdraw all funding" just like the Republicans made the Dems vote to continue the war by introducing a resolution for the Immediate Withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan.

The problem is the Democrats don't have a counter part to FAUX news to help them control the message. And, apparently the aging population loves them some Bill O'reilly

3. They are mostly white folks
Edited on Tue Feb-09-10 01:31 PM by peace frog
but it's unfair to label them "trash". I have a teabagger retired auntie who demonstrates locally with her teabagger pals, most of whom are decent formerly hard-working folks. Wrong-headed and intractable as their thinking may be, they are basically good people.

7. Well, yes.
That's "What's the matter with Kansas". They vote for people who are out to screw them, then whine about how the government is screwing them.

It's not a bug in the Republican Agenda, it's a feature.
